Invited cyclist 2019:
Roberto Heras
Roberto was a professional cyclist from 1995 to 2005. He’s the cyclist who has won the Vuelta a España cycling race the most times, winning in 2000, 2003, 2004 and 2005. He came ninth in the 2002 Tour de France and achieved a stage victory in the 1999 Giro d’Italia, in which he came fifth. Passionate about mountains, he’s won the Titan Desert mountain bike race on four occasions and has taken part in several international trail running races.
Invited sportspeople:
Carles Checa
Carles was a professional rider in the 500 cc and MotoGP categories between 1995 and 2010. He was superbike world champion in 2011. He is currently a MotoGP race commentator and a Ducati ambassador. He’s a mountain biking and road racing enthusiast.
Sandra Santanyes
Sandra has been the Spanish mountain biking champion on 15 occasions in the XCO, Marathon, Eliminator and Team Relay categories. She has taken part in a long list of prestigious international events. She retired in the 2018 season after winning the Brazil Ride.
Jordi Garcia
Jordi is a professional triathlete. During the 2018 season he came first in the European Cup, held in Valencia, and in 2017 was the Spanish triathlon champion in the relay, relay pair and super sprint categories.
Nani Roma
The rally-raid rider Nani Roma will be joining us again at the LLCW on the back of an excellent second position at the 2019 Dakar Rally. Nani has won the Dakar Rally in the motorbike and car categories, along with several other races. He has a proven track record as a professional motor racing competitor and is passionate about mountain biking and road racing.
